Compare Samsung NC10 Prices
The Samsung NC10
Pros – great looks, decent size screen and keyboard, superb battery life and high storage capacity
Cons – heavy, top end pricing
Samsung’s first offering in the
netbook market looks a winner. The first thing that grabs you is the styling. It feels really well built with a proper metal trim around the edge of the chassis adding a real touch of class.
The 10.2 inch bright, clear screen makes movie viewing and working with multi-tab applications a breeze. With a bigger screen comes a bigger keyboard than on many netbooks – great if you have chunky, clunky fingers.
But all this comes at a price – at around 100g more than most netbooks the Samsung NC10 is not as portable as its rivals.
The Intel Atom processor is pretty standard fare as is the 1gb Ram. However, with a massive 160gb memory the NC10 is at the top of the tree for storage. And now the surprise – big machine, big hard drive, big screen and yet…………the battery’s insatiable – 6 hours minimum even with a whole host of applications in use. That’s simply unbeatable.
So to the bottom line – with a price tag of £300 the NC10 is at the top end of the scale but and some may be put off but it’s hard to fault this machine an hey, what price the drop dead looks!!
